MBAS Blues Challenge

Each July brings the heats of the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society Blues Challenge Competition solo / duo category, with this year’s heats falling on the 22nd and 23rd of July. Over the years I’ve enjoyed participating many times and the passed few years Les Oldman joined me on drums. In 2014 we made it through to the finals and last year to the semi finals. Its always a wonderful opportunity meet other artists and be part of a wonderful well managed event with a responsive audience and great sound. This year I will be going solo. Will keep you posted on the results.

Mornington Winter Music Festival

I’m looking forward to playing at the 2019 Mornington Winter Music Festival with Chris Riseley joining me on double bass. We’ll be performing two sets on Saturday 8th June. From 12-12:45pm we’ll be on the street outside the Grand Hotel and then from 2:30-3:15pm we’ll be outside Boyz 4 Breakie. There will be live music throughout the weekend with over 20 venues and free street entertainment playing Jazz, Blues and other musical. http://styles.https://morningtonmusicfestival.com.au/
